Black Widow, Vol. 1: The Finely Woven Thread by Nathan Edmondson
4.0
I wanted to read this collection because I heard very good things about the artwork, and it lived up to the hype. The artwork is astonishing, however, the story wasn't, at least not in my opinion.
This was my very first Black Widow comic, and I'm glad it was, but Natasha was just a little too broody for me. Now I know she has a decently complicated past and probably has reasons to be all broody (the only things I know about her are from the MCU), but if this was my very first introduction to the character I probably would've felt quite lost and confused and therefore wouldn't be able to enjoy the story.
Side note: this story kind of reminds me of Iron Man 2 and 3.
