this book was utterly AMAZING! the tension, the intrigue, the world building, all of it was so fantastically done!!! plus, the representation and indigenous backgrounds make this such a culturally rich book, i loved every second of reading this!!! normally i get lost when reading from many perspectives but this was a good amount, not too many and not too little so things didn’t get left out. i’m so excited for the next book to find out what happens now because the endings for everyone’s storylines was just AAAHHHHHH I NEED TO KNOW!! i’m also curious to see what will happen with Xiala, i am so invested in her and Serapio’s relationship and what her secrets are, and i gotta know what happens!!! definitely recommend this book, one hundred percent!!
