Now this is an excellently written book. It's relatively short and to the point, and I love Mandel's character work. The boomerang of a narrative structure works so well for the anomaly the book revolves around, and even though we spend very little time with the individual characters, they're all such fully fleshed out people. I would have liked to know more about all of them, but I didn't need to know more, because the book is great as it is.
