I'm very conflicted about this book. On the one hand, I loved the concept and how different each character was. On the other, there were definitely parts that needed to be bolstered. Example, Patrick was such an interesting character. He's Jasmine's scent match and the only Alpha not already a part of the pack but we barely get any of him. The book would have been stronger without him. That said, I did enjoy the unique omegaverse elements: Uber alphas, Declan's siren voice, etc. I think the characters were there, the pacing just needed to be rebalanced. Also the terrible treatment of omegas was so detailed while the take down of the structure responsible was so quick. It was unsettling.
