Every once in a while I love a book that just throws me into a situation, no context, no backstory, pulls me through the thick of it without mercy, then leaves me to sit with it.

The Darkside of Midnight is very much that.
It's a glimpse at a story I'm not sure I want more of yet would happily dive into if given the chance.

Dark, menacing and without redemption.

The writing was precise and on point and while some of the FMCs emotions were difficult to relate to, even for someone with a taste as problematic as mine, they made sense for someone with her backstory.

Definitely worth a read for the horror erotica lovers!
