Gone But Not Forgotten by Charlie Cochet

5.0

The Easiest Awarded 5 Stars!!

I’m not going to lie. It’s been a very long four years since we last saw Dex and Sloane, and who knew if my love would stand the test of time? Who knew if the intense action, the life and death situations, the seriously swoony romance and smexy smex, and the ridiculous humor would ALL still prevail? I was legit worried that maybe, just maybe, I had made it all up in my head, that I had unrealistically put THIRDS on a pedestal, that Cochet could no longer bring it because… well… for me… nothing has.

If you’ve felt the same dear reader, let me reassure you. Rest. Easy.

Cochet brought her A game and gave us everything and then some. My heart was in my throat, I laughed out loud, I shed a tear or two or three.

There’s no point in rehashing the plot. If you love Dex and Sloane, now you’ll love them even more. I sure do.

This book just further solidified what I’ve been saying these last few years. For me, there’s just something special about this series and simply put, none of Cochet’s other works compare in capturing the chemistry and magic that is this Therian/Human universe, and I wholeheartedly stand by that statement.

Sorry not sorry.

I’m just ecstatic these crazy wackacheesydoodles are back, and the 2nd book is on its way!

Fucking finally. Amen.
