Have you ever just started a prequel and you knew instantly that the series following this book was going to be a banger??? That’s exactly how I feel about this book!! I know a lot of people hyped The Lycans series up and now I see why. If this is their parents origin story then I know the kids are going to be epic.

This story starts off with an 18 year old vampire name Luna who is exploring Eastern Europe by herself. One day while exploring a near by cave and watering hole she comes face to face with a 200 year old huge very handsome Lycan named Banter who is the king of the Scottish Lycans. From that moment on they realized they are fated to each other and can’t imagine doing life without their partner no matter their differences.

All I’m going to say is….WHERE IS MY BANNER!!!! This Lycan was everything and more. Gentle, protective, patient, possessive, and willing to bend you over any flat surface just to satisfy your need first!! Yasss! I knew I loved supernatural/shifter romances in high school but this prequel right here has me excited to rekindle my love again!
