Gunner and Coralie's book was everything I'd hoped for after reading Alpha Wolf. It was so great to see their friendship turn into a relationship from when was unavailable to now.
Honestly one of the best parts was how amazing he was with her son, Jack. He treated him like his own from the beginning but also never took authority away from his mom. It was an amazing relationship. I just love Jack. He is a little spitfire and full of passion. It was great to see him thrive with Gunner's love and attention.
I also loved Gunner's patience with Coralie. He knew she'd gone through a lot and he was so wonderful with her. He is definitely book boyfriend material. I loved Coralie too. I thought her struggles were handled well and that she overcame them in a healthy way and I'm glad therapy was talked about in this book. I also loved how she worked to open up with Gunner about the parts he didn't know. Their mutual love and trust was so wonderful. But don't get me wrong I also loved their off the charts chemistry on top of their wonderful conversations.
It's killing me that I'm going to have to wait for a book 3.
