Two Old Men and a Baby: Or, How Hendrik and Evert Get Themselves Into a Jam by Hendrik Groen

3.0

I’ve read and enjoyed the first two Hendrik Groen books, which are written as diaries. This one is a departure in format as this is a novel narrated by different characters. This is also a bit of a prequel, taking place before both of the diaries. All of that said, this is a humorous, lighthearted Hendrik and Evert adventure. It’s a bit far-fetched that everyone would be as inept as some of these characters, but that’s part of the charm of the Groen novels. This has quietly become one of my favorite series, if you can call it a series, which I will.
