Superman: Last Son by Geoff Johns

3.0

It's okay. I liked Kubert's art a lot, and there are some nice scenes between Chris and Clark, or between Chris and Lois. Mon-El's appearance in the Phantom Zone worked well.

Other parts, eh. The big fight at the end seemed half-ass, like they thought it would be badass to release all these Kryptonian criminals, but then for the convenience of the story, they all had to basically become completely inept and impotent when confronted by Parasite and Metallo (although they clearly defeated Supergirl, Wonder Woman, etc.). Zod didn't really thrill me too much either; he's little more than your basic would-be despot with a side of abusive parent. It's all right, but not as top-to-bottom engaging as other Superman runs.
