This series slaps so hard!
Was this book too long? Should it have been broken up into two books? Yes!
Did it affect my overall feelings about it? Absolutely not!

So much happens in the plot and character/relationship development in this one—two things I live for in my romantasies. Dianna's character development was unreal. Did I want to strangle her for how long it took her to get there? Yes, but all good things come to those who wait—or do they, because the end of this left just enough of a cliffhanger to keep me super invested and stressed, but also made me comfortable with taking a small break after this 600+ page rollercoaster.

Oh, and did I mention the plot twists??
