I listened to this one, Will Patton did a fantastic job and look forward to listening to The Outsider next. And it makes me wish I would have listened to the first 2.

I started this Trilogy because of the book Holly that came out last year. I fell in love with her character in the show The Outsider, but wanted to start at the beginning. So really I’m just anticipating that book.

But the trilogy was certainly entertaining enough, and I liked the main characters a lot. This particular book was quite the concept, a little “Get Out” and a little of “The Skeleton Key.” Very different from a typical “crime” novel.
