A Sea of Unspoken Things by Adrienne Young

mysterious slow-paced

3.5

Thank you @prhaudio @dellromance for a copy of this book. I love how Young writes a blend of mystery and romance with her stories and she does this so well. This book is very atmospheric with the woods of Northern California just as much as part of the story.

We have James (a she) who returns to the small town after her twin (Johnny) dies. I love the connection they have. James is determined that Johnny's death isn't accidental and digs deeper.

My gripe with the story is the pacing. It is very slow and lost me a few times.

Christine Lankin did a good job in the narration.
