truly, this book is complicated. in every way. having already watched the movie, i was sure i would enjoy this book entirely, and i was 100% correct. it was shocking and dark and tense. there was heavy foreshadowing, which i usually don’t love, but felt it was done tastefully. i had to get used to the writing at the beginning, because it is more descriptive than i usually like. honestly, over time i rly started to enjoy the style of writing. i read this book pretty quickly, it was a page turner. nick and amy were both totally psychotic at the end, which is always so much fun to read.
