It's been a long time since I've read anything that struck this balance of compelling and wholly unique! Read in one fell swoop, can't wait for the next book.

Romance and a realistic amount of sensuality (without sex), gorgeous and heartfelt setting, relationships I cared about within the first few pages. The end got a bit swift, but in a satisfying way. Cannot. wait. for the next book. Recommend highly!
