When was the last time I was selfish? When was the last time the people pleaser went back into hiding, the last time I banished her to get what I wanted solely for myself? My body breaks out in a cold sweat because . . . I don’t know. I don’t know. Oh god.

NO THIRD ACT BREAKUP WE FAWKING CHEERED!!!
it definitely absolutely could’ve gone that way 💀
anyway, so i got through like 50% of this book before stopping for a day bc olivia was pissing me off but then i came back to this because i realized that’s the point… kinda.
olivia is a complete pushover.. like completely. and ofc that would piss any reader off. but that’s the point of this book and her journey. Olivia has to learn how to do shit for herself and not think about how something may effect every other person. Andre’s sexy ass definitely helps with his brutal honesty and later down the road bc of how much he loves her and wants the best for her.
i’ve always wanted a book that takes that “what if i fall in love with the fbi agent that watches my every move” meme and puts it into a book lol. this author executed it so well.
moving on is the best revenge.
but yk, doesn’t hurt to slash his tires too.
