I really liked this book, but if I had to choose, The Endgame is my favorite.

Jeremy was a solid character. He was strong and supportive of Darren, but still had insecurities about his place in Darren’s life. I liked that he was exploring himself as well. He may have been out, but he was discovering what he wanted from life after his divorce.

Darren was just precious. I loved that he was this seemingly typical jock, but peel back that layer and he was just the sweetest guy. His relationship ship with his mother and sister was so much fun and touching to read. Riley always does a great job creating familial connections in her books. I did like that Darren was less worried about his career than Anson was. Jeremy was his everything and he wasn’t going to allow anything to take him away.

As for the spice, once they break the seal, these two are like bunnies.

While I liked this book, The Endgame had me in a chokehold and I connected with it so much that it overshadowed The Endzone a little. I almost wish I would have taken sometime in between them.

Operation Read Riley is officially underway and I’m going to try and read as many of her books as I can this year! 🤞🏻
