I had some trouble with this final book of the series. I just didn't really like Meera too much for most of it. She was so arrogant and self-important, thinking her judgment about nearly everything was the only valid judgment. And I felt that Rhys deserved better than for his reshon to resist accepting him just because he was chosen by heaven, and not by her first. I think because of her, I just kinda felt emotionally disconnected from so much of the story.
