Journey Under the Midnight Sun by Keigo Higashino
4.0
Felt really proud that I was able to get through a doorstopper!!! It all made sense with the novel going through multiple subplots because this was a serial way back in the 90s before actually printing it out as a novel. Gosh, I never knew that traversing a 20-year period was a roller-coaster ride.
What I loved about the novel is that it is not a straight-forward give away of action, but rather, you go into a maze of sorts, identifying character cross overs and significant events through the subplots. Even the discovery of who did what was made into something of a second-hand information, through a series of instruments.
I cannot wait to see its cinematic interpretation of this book. There was even a Japanese series!
