I don’t think my feelings have ever done as much of a 180 from the start of a series to the end as this one has. When I started the series I wasn’t sure I could take three books of it. The first book was so harsh and fucked up.

But this? This is perfection. This book gave me so much joy reading it. I had to stop several times because I was overcome by how much I loved Damen and Laurent. I was so worried that this was going to end poorly and I had come to love them both so so much. This was stressful as heck y’all.

What a wonderful end to a series and a wonderful start to my 2022 reading year!
