3.5⭐️ Listen, this is a fun read and it didn’t suffer from the middle book syndrome. But it still had minor issues, like the plot jumping everywhere. And not even a hint of character growth. But it is only the second book in the series and I LOVE the first book so I continued on. And there are some good parts, the spice was phenomenal and it was perfect for that craving alone. But I also love these characters so much. With that said, this is def not going to be my favorite book from the series, but it is necessary for the series as a whole. I will be continuing this series soon, not yet, just in case. I don’t want to go in to a reading slump if I feel the same way about the next book, so I will take a little break and continue on next month hopefully.

I still recommend this series if you are looking for a book reminiscent to acotar and with lots of spice and tension.

Happy reading ✨
