I just wanted a cute mermaid princess romance and all of a sudden I’m crying and memorizing lore. I do think there’s slightly tooo much lore for what’s essentially an adventure-romance novel and it can be hard to keep track of everything but I enjoyed the writing and love Tallora as a character.
