This was such a surprise to me, but in the best way possible! I went into it knowing nothing, and came out of it with a new favorite book. I just loved everything about it, and the narrative style was nothing short of perfect! The audiobook also has a full cast, and it’s an incredible listening experience.

It’s a faux memoir, describing the life of the famous author Cate Kay, aka Cas, aka Annie, from childhood and well into adulthood. At its core it’s a story about the many ways, big and small, we impact the lives of others. But also about the way we carry pieces of each other throughout our lives. It’s about love and friendship and being true to yourself, and I ADORED it!
