Lifting a curse
This story was a great children's adventure to find the truth about something that didn't make sense. This really started with a feeling of a new take on Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys.
However, once the curse was lifted the story felt like it was a mix of confusing timelines and repetitive thoughts and feelings. It was hard to figure out how old the kids were and then how much time last because it felt like they were pretty young to begin with but then once they ended up in the city it felt like they were much older. The three point of views were basically saying the same thing with tiny differences.
So the first half was really good but the second half either needed more substance and less repetition or to be shortened to the point. Its a good debut and the preteen and teenage kids will probably not see those details like I do.
