I never read or saw the movie DUFF so this review is from a noob to this author's writing. You didn't need to know the previous book to read this one FWIW. I enjoyed this book as a light read, sort of a throw back to the simple YA romance that I used to read growing up. I needed a mental break and this was nice for that.
Great read for teens, light on anything physically romantic, but plenty of witty banter and general sweetness.
