What It Should Be: A Strangers to Lovers, Hockey Romance by Grayce Rian
4.0
A sweet and spicy hockey romance with a slow burn swoony journey where he falls first with the woman of his dreams. Dakota is the new nanny to his niece, and their chemistry is instant, but she's already married. Little does Carson know that Dakota has already been saving to divorce her toxic husband and escape his controlling behaviour.
Carson knows they can only be friends but he can't help but be drawn to Dakota, but as soon as she needs him he is right there to be whatever she needs.
I liked seeing their relationship develop and the way they supported each other through their own traumas and nightmares. The vacation scenes were sweet and spicy, it's a wholesome read and I adored all the nods to her love of books, and him making a library for her plus all the cute nicknames were adorable.
I also liked the scene overlaps with Carson's sister which was the focus of book 1 - What it was.
