Schrader's Chord by Scott Leeds

4.5

Very impressive debut by Leeds. The characters were vivid and likable, there was great character development, and the plot was the perfect mix of slow burn and constant forward movement. I loved how the curse worked and did not see the plot twist coming at the end (though, shame on me, I totally should have). There were lines in this book that made me laugh at loud and points in the story that made me audibly gasp. And there was gore and violence, too. Perfect mix of everything for a horror novel!
