The overall plot and vibe of the book was really good. It was all just too rushed/short. My hardcover was 288 pages and I feel it could have used another 100+ pages.  The romance felt a little Insta-love, and the spicy scenes felt like teases. It could have used more padding to the plot to the story left better paced rather than all the dominoes falling as quickly as they did. Overall a good Halloween vibe.
