The Horse and His Boy by C.S. Lewis

3.0

Like with the first two books, there are some great moments that deliver a payoff. But on the whole, I don't think C.S. Lewis is a good writer. Reading his words aloud even brings this more to light. It can be choppy and confusing. I did like the beginning and ending of this one, but the middle portions dragged and we almost gave up finishing. But we persevered and I am glad we did.
