Gave me “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” vibes but *trans edition*. Really enjoyed reading about the authors journey. Rating is not based on my feelings toward the journey but how it was portrayed artistically, personally I’m not a fan of the “Wimpy Kid” art aesthetic but the graphics were easy to follow and paired with the story was very entertaining. Lots of UK slang to catch up on. One thing though, the character Jess is drawn as a black girl? Or brown skinned girl but Real Jess shown at the end is a full on white woman…not sure what the artistic choice behind that was
