if I were to rate this as a book, it earns 4.25 stars. if I were to rate this as a MYSTERY, I would give it closer to 3 stars. very very enjoyable but not because this is an intriguing mystery or murder. turton creates a vivid world steeped in sci-fi, and for that it is an excellent book.
