Aristotle and Dante Dive into the Waters of the World by Benjamin Alire Sáenz
4.0
This was the conclusion that Aristotle and Dante deserved and I can say confidently that this sequel served its purpose in my eyes. Seeing Ari’s growth and him allowing himself to let people in was so heartwarming. The moments that Ari and Dante shared together just felt so sacred. The love they had for each other felt so pure and it’s sad that these two boys in love couldn’t show their love publicly. This just made the last scenes in this book that much more rewarding. Benjamin Alire Saenz’s writing is breathtaking, it’s like he lures you in with these flowery words and metaphors. I can’t help but think that it’s extraordinary that a human being has a mind that can come up with this.
