Pretty good all things considered. I guess it's possible, if not probable, that she could have survived it all. I LOVED the nonexistent love interest most of all! I mean, seriously. This was, quite literally, the only YA title I have EVER read (as far as I can remember) which had NO love story. None. Other than that of a girl and her dog! Quite refreshing. Cuz, yeah...life happens without love affairs, folks! Especially in the wilds of Alaska. ☺
