This book was fantastic. a bit slow moving at first, but the ending gave me exactly the kind of bitter satisfaction I love from crime dramas and thrillers. There was a lot going on, but rarely too much to follow. Kate was not overblown in any specific personality trait, and the other characters have a flow about them.
