Beastly: A Gay Monster Romance by Cole Burne
3.0
It's a 2.5 for me but I'm rounding it up for the idea. I'm all up for beauty and beast retelling. This had a great start, with a main character who's abused by his father and in exchange for his life, the father sends him to the beast's castle. Beau is scared at first, but then warms up to the beast, and the good thing is that . Besides the beginning, the rest felt too rushed for my tastes, I couldn't enjoy their romance because it was very insta-lust from the beast's side and I'm more of a slow burn person. Not a bad read though, it's was very easy to get into and finish it, I'm grateful it's one the books that pulled me out of my recent slump.
