The Fabric of Civilization: How Textiles Made the World by Virginia Postrel

3.5

Rating : 3,5⭐
I most enjoyed learning about the history of textiles, but I didn't care as much about the sections concerning the current innovations in textile technology. Though, I'm not sure the book goes deep enough to encompass the concept of "civilization" as a whole. I don't think that title was earned. But as someone who enjoys fiber crafts already, there was enough here to keep me interested in reading.
