Speechless!!
It's very rare that a book with Indian characters and background has touched me so deeply. This book is as poignant as it is complex. Almost all the characters who appear in the book, take a part of you with them as it reaches the end. I am not even considering the political backdrop it is mostly set on, because even barring that, the characters give you enough to feel for them; with their insufferable circumstances and flawed choices.
And in the end, your state is same as their fate. As both of you are looking for an escape you might never find.
