Listened to the audio while following along with the paperback. That audio did not disappoint. I absolutely loved falling in love with the characters as they fell for each other. I even loved falling in love with Dessi Blue and her story. Yes people would consider this a slow burn. However, this is what i call doing a slow burn right. Kennedy kept me engaged the entire time. From what they had going on in their person lives, to the movie and each other. Neevah’s character was handled with so much care and that’s one thing you can bet on Kennedy doing so well. Now i will say i couldn’t stand Terry for the life of me but I’m happy they got right. I could listen to this again.
