I absolutely loved this book. From the start I was hooked by the character descriptions. As the book went on the sexual tension was done so well that any little contact between the two characters had you on the edge of your seat.
I was very impressed by how the author portrays the intimacy and connection, this allows us as the reader not only to care and root for the couple but it also allows for exploration in their sexual acts as there is trust and communication in place. It is a fantastic portrayal of a healthy relationship.
I really enjoyed how the author chose to do dual POVs it wasn’t repetitive and allowed for us to get closed to the characters and see the moments of vulnerability they share together.
My favourite part of this book is towards the end when they are daring to hope they can have a life together against all odds. When they realise that when you have someone in your life that loves you that everything is more enjoyable. The author has how the even the simplest of tasks in a life with someone you love can become wonderful treasured moments.
This book was an emotional journey and I loved every second of it, I’m looking forward to book 2.
