Absolutely loved this middle grade book. I think it would be excellent to read with 5th-6th graders especially students that come from mixed homes and/or that have separated or divorced parents. Tons of opportunities to relate to the characters. Also great for 2nd or 3rd generation immigrant kids that struggle with their identity and speaking Spanish.
