I had to pick this book up a few different times before I finally finished it. I love, love, love books 1 and 2, but this one didn’t hit home for me. Amare was so jealous and I missed the badass woman she was in the first few books. I missed the banter with Lukas (I mean, they separated for so long and I was counting down until they were reunited). I will still continue to read Emma Noyes’ future books, but this one was not my fave in the series.
