Tears of an Orphan by Mikel Wilson

fast-paced

Ummm... What the hell? I don't even know where to start. The orphanage was super cringe but I was ready to accept that.
Then he's out like the orphanage wasn't supposed to be the biggest part of his personality.

Then he immediately gets a perfect job from the most kind man on the planet. Then he meets a girl, meets her father the next day and marries her 4 days after they met. The kindest man on the planet dies of course, to leave him his whole business. His wife finds out she's pregnant and the same day they see the baby on the ultrasound and listen to its heartbeat. I hope the author knows that's not how it works. Oh, and, they have powers for some reason? That don't get mentioned till half of the book and seem to have no real purpose other than that someone thought it'd be cool if they had powers. By the way, the kid is 18...
