Each of the novellas in this trilogy have been tense and expertly paced so that it's easily possible to read in a day or two and have generally been pretty awesome. This finale exceeded my expectations and they were already pretty high.  There are so many layers to this one, bringing all of the threads from the series together into a bloody final showdown. There's even a book within the book and that was thoroughly exciting.  I truly enjoyed the first two but this final novella told a more epic story, where every moment is spent upping the stakes and telling the story from different perspectives, culminating into a cohesive and explosive endgame. It's masterfully done and I commend Tade Thompson's storytelling.
