This is one of those books that I checked out on Libby immediately following its release... aaaand then put off over and over again because I was scared it wouldn't be good. Thank goodness it happened to pop up on my "this will be returned soon" list just after I finished my last audiobook, and I thought, 'Welp. I guess I'd better just bight the bullet.' Jiminy Christmas, you guys. This was so stinking good! What was I thinking?? Matthew McConaughey is exactly who you expect him to be! Cool and calm and funny without trying too hard. He has lots of little nuggets of wisdom, some surprisingly good poems, and a ton of clever jokes that had me laughing out loud. It was just a super fun listen, and I thought he did a great job.
