Circe by Madeline Miller
5.0
Perfect. Not as achingly beautiful as song of Achilles but just as powerful, as it is told from a female point of view. Circe must find herself amidst the fleeting and dangerous affections of gods and monsters, and find herself she does. I don't have much background in Greek mythology and I think that ignorance served me well in my reading. Thoroughly enjoyed this listen; the narrator Perdita Weeks is part of the magic.
