Did not finish book. Stopped at 14%.
I really enjoyed this book at the first 5 chapters. Reading about the murder actually being committed really tugged at my heartstrings, though the 6th chapter immediately ruined the book for me and I lost interest. When I picked this up, I thought we would read about the police as they slowly try to figure out the culprit, as well as switching to the POV of the known culprit as we learn about his guilt, and how he chooses to deal with the situation.
This is probably how the book plays out.
Though one of the cops in chapter 6 guessed *exactly* how the case played out from one briefcase and now I’ve lost interest, thinking what’s the point of reading 300 pages of something that’s already been figured out by one of the cops. What’s the point of reading until Felix’s confession if it’s that far away?
Point is, I just lost interest. Sorry Belinda.
