This was a short scene with Finn and Marcus meeting for the first time when Marcus arrives to take over an investigation that Finn has been working on for a while. I think I enjoyed this more after reading the first book because I had more context of how their relationship played out and the last chapter with them as a couple/partners makes more sense.
