Between Burning Worlds by Jessica Brody, Joanne Rendell
Did not finish book.
DNF at around 230p
I don't know if my taste has changed since the first book, but apart from this not going into a direction that I consider interesting, I didn't care much for the dialog or writing in general. This kinda detaches itself from the roots of the source material, which I wouldn't mind that much if I enjoyed it more. Some of the conversations are so juvenile and the characters are put into situations were they can't do interesting things.
This book also includes a pet pieve of mine, which is abandoning the premise one thinks the novel has pretty early on to do whatever.
