Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling
5.0
i’m not sure if i will be able to articulate any of this in a way that makes sense and truly expresses how i feel.
i was terrified to read this. mainly because i knew it was the end of something that was so quick to become a favorite (and a personality trait).
i have never said “i love this so much” during a book—especially the things reached a deadlock. i’ve also never cried so hard—especially for someone who realized he was alive.
one thing i’ve always appreciate is the twists jkr implements, especially when they take a book or two to surface. i thought i despises certain characters, but now i’m rethinking.
i will never be able to express how much this series means to me. there is no doubt in my mind that this series will stay with me. this book alone is probably my all time favorite. i’ll never forget those who died fighting for what was right, either.
with that said, i will never forgive jkr for not giving draco the redemption arc he deserved or how she treated slytherins (don’t get me started on how she is in real life).
at the end of the day... i loved every minute of this. i love these characters and i always will.
