Value Sensitive Design: Shaping Technology with Moral Imagination (The MIT Press) by Batya Friedman, David G. Hendry
4.0
An academic book, written by and for academics, but the core idea that human values should be taken into account when designing technology has much broader relevance. The challenge of how to incorporate the presented methodologies in profit-driven contexts with aggressive deadlines remains open, but this book offers a solid theoretical and research foundation for developing better value-sensitive approaches.
